J E N E S A I S Q U O I was founded in 2016 by a thirty-something woman, based in Antwerp (Belgium).
In French language, the expression is used when talking about distinctive and highly appreciated yet difficult to describe characteristics. It refers to persons with that little something extra, an additional charm and style. Same goes for amazing places or objects.
JE NE SAIS QUOI is all about Myriam, a modern and extremely busy career woman, with a great passion for interior design and travelling.
With a Spanish background and suffering a serious case of wanderlust, her personal preferences go to eclectic designs and vivid colours. Her own home is an interesting haven to both design classics and creative findings from all around the world. Mixing and matching is key to her designs.
In fashion, she has a weak spot for classy and feminine outfits. Some of her favourite designers are Valentino, Chanel and Gianvito Rossi. She finds simplicity is key and accessorizes with ultimate care. Marrying a low budget outfit to a vintage couture item is always an exciting challenge.
Looking forward to a next trip abroad is what makes her happy. But small indulgences such as the perfect cappuccino or this month’s issue of Architectural Digest might do the trick as well.
Last but not least, she regularly writes columns about her day to day experiences. Love, health issues, troubles at work or funny anecdotes. Read all about it, in her own and vibrant style.
She has that certain JE NE SAIS QUOI. Do you?
